I'm guessing that no-one is, theoretically you could. If you had a large tank you could dry dose, smaller volume tanks would be more problematic, purely because of the small weights involved.

Some dry dose the macro ferts, but I find it easier to make solutions and dose on alternative days 'iron and traces' and then phosphates. I front load on macros with the water change.
