Dosing Ferts in Shrimp Tanks

I was browsing the website which George Farmer recently discovered and found this:

I'm just wandering in general will dosing ferts daily be less likely to affect shrimps and snails rather than dosing in one large go weekly. Will it make no difference?

I have previously had no problems with dosing in shrimp tanks i was just wandering.

I dose large amounts of ferts in one go (up to 6 teas spoons at a time) into my tank and the shrimp are fine.
I have done this for a few years.
