Collectively, I spend about 45 minutes a month maintaining this and somehow it still manages to look good. This was my first low tech scape and I’ll certainly be making more.
I was also hoping to upgrade this to slightly bigger shallow tank so that I can house a medaka or two. Any suggestions for decent sized shallow tanks? (Except wio)

Well, art is subjective. It may be a bowl of leaves for you but to me, it looks absolutely brilliant. I've always wanted to do a shallow with botanicals. Have you got a journal for this by any chance?
