One of my friend has given me this crypt and asked me to grow it. Asked him what it is but he forgot it. Anyone can help to id it?

Very hard to say, could be quite a few.. Just to take a gamble seeing the robust stems it might grow big maybe C. Usteriana.

If it has thin leaves (<1cm) it may be Crispatula Balansae.

He finally remembered. It’s Crypt. Hudoroi

This is its red and twisted young leaf

C. Usteriana tends to have broader leaves. I was going to say a young balansae at first.
