im using ecocomplete as my main substrate but the colour doesnt work with the aquascape im creating, want to create a woodland with a path and for the path i want a more red/brown path (cheap substrate)

would this work?

I wouldn't think you would be able to use this in a tank, you might if you cap it with something else but that defies the point, cat litter/Akadama/Malaya might have the effect desired.

i want a path to look more like earth and the akadama looks sort of like gravel. want a smooth path sort of look, finding it difficult on the cheap!
