confused

3/16th is nearly a quarter so I'd go with that

1/16 is a quarter of a quarter... guess it but keep it consistent

ok so

NO3 - 3/16(tsp) per 20 gallons
PO4 - 1/16(tsp) per 20 gallons
trace - 1/16(tsp) per 20 gallons

times everything by 3 to get what you need for your 60 gallons.

that'll give
NO3 - 9/16(tsp) per 60 gallons
PO4 - 3/16(tsp) per 60 gallons
trace - 3/16(tsp) per 60 gallons

or this could be

NO3 - 1/2(tsp) per 60 gallons (slightly less than 9/16)
PO4 - 1/4(tsp) per 60 gallons (slightly more than 3/16)
trace - 1/4(tsp) per 60 gallons (slightly more than 3/16)

dosed to the 3x a week standard outlined in cegs article.

Hi

Have to agree with chump54  .
You have to give your plants all the nutrients they need or they will start to suffer.
When that happens you will be plagued by algae .
As chump54 implies, don't worry about a slight 'overdose'. No harm will come to your plants or livestock :D.
