A small update on my nano tank. I bought a new lily pipe, which has significantly reduced the flow. I'm so used to fast-moving water that everything now looks motionless. However, the fish and shrimp seem to like it. I’ve turned the filter back to full power, and I’ll see over the next few days how everything adjusts. I noticed a bit of algae in the right corner, but this morning at dawn, I saw the reason for it. A ray of morning sunlight hits that part of the tank directly when the curtains are open.
Today, I also did some major plant trimming. I’m planning to expand the background plants all the way to the right side because it looks quite empty.
The water is still a bit cloudy from the maintenance, but I couldn’t wait to take a picture of the current state. What do you think of the new glass outlet for the filter?
