Hi guys, I'm setting up my first planted tank so I'm a complete newbie to aquascaping. I've got some cobbles and pebbles I'd like to use, sourced from a gravel pit on a family farm. They are a variety of colours and look great when wet. I've scrubbed them and rinsed and soaked with boiling water several times over and scrubbed and scrubbed some more and rinsed again. Ive done a vinegar test and they dont fizz. Will they be safe to use in my tank?

I've read a lot on this site and elsewhere on the Internet and the advice is conflicting so I was wondering if someone could give me an answer based on their experience?

Thanks, Will

They're fine to use. Don't be confused with wet stones. When underwater, they tend to look as they do dry above water.
