Morning.
I have only been using the above regulator for 2 years, almost to the day.
Had really good correspondence so far via email but they have concluded that it has developed a fault that obviously cant be fixed.
To be honest I had a bit of a scare with the gas bottle yesterday and I'm not sure I trust myself to DIY it back to life.
So what to do?
My tank is 90% full of lush plants. Do i take this opportunity and go Low Tech?
Do I quickly make a purchase of a possibly more decent Regulator and get up and running asap.
Am I walking a Tight Rope in respect to an algae bomb or dying plants?

Whenever i read about CO2 art theres often issues. I just feel a bit p***ed about the situation and its a bank holiday weekend so time is running out?

Well let me know what you guys think.
Help me spend some cash?
Or not?

Oh I use a sodastream canister so if I did get a dual gauge reg, i would need an adapter. Duuuuuh.

CO2 Art sometimes do a seasonal sale through here. Not soon enough!

Cheers for reading the rant.

I think it's all about stability, reliability and longevity. I had the fortune to have an experienced aquascaper help me with my tank design and Strideways was the only solid recommendation over the long term.

Made a call to AG this morning.
They didnt have the soda stream attachment on their site so being old school, I just asked and Jacob found one that fitted one of their Regulators.
Its always good to speak to a human. I speak to Dave like we have been friends for years, just because i bought some plants and watched him on YT. Classic.
Anyway i ended up with a Life Aqua unit which they apparently use in store so hopefully its going to go okay.
Its coming in 24 hrs post so I dont have to wait over the BH Weekend. Instead I can mess about with my setup instead!
Back in the game.
Maybe i will get a pic up when its all sorted!

I had a co2 mishap a while back which resulted in losing a fish. I have since removed the co2 altogether. There is a lot more algae that there wasn’t before but I’m less of a perfectionist now and it only bothers me a little.

If you don’t mind tweaking your lighting and fertiliser a bit you might want to try no co2 for a bit.
