Yes, I already have many of the papers that you listed - and a few extras. They are all very interesting indeed. I know of someone on A N Other Forum who devised an experiment to gauge how the processing of nitrogenous waste was 'split' between plants and microbes*. I seem to recall that it was about 50:50. But, this experiment would need to be re-run. I haven't been in touch with that person for at least a year.
