Hi, I am a (prematurely) retired anglo-italian veterinarian, moved back to Italy 12 years ago. I have since then taken up fishkeeping and currently setting up my 6th tank. My first was a 250 liter low tech planted southamerican comunity
My other low tech planted is a 60 liter CRS/Otocinclus Cocama
The other tanks are pretty plantless being a 160 liter oranda and two 400 liter mbuna tanks (although plenty of alfae on the rocks and I am trialling a self built lagae scrubber in one of them).
I have now swapped my bedside table for another 400 liter tank that will house juvie discus, once they are fully grown I will put my oak "tree" in the tank with epiphitic plants on the branches. Ciao
