Is it not just a CO2 extender manifold? Or does it do something special?

Ah sorry, so you mean the actual regulator etc, not an extension manifold. I've never used the Chihiros, only the CO2 Art and the Strideways, I would say that Strideways is better than the CO2 Art that I have due to a superior needle valve.

Max,
The co2 art regulator, shown in the picture, is a double stage regulator. The chihiros ones is a single stage. Both have aluminium body, so will be sensible to rough handling. The manifold on the chihiros is extendable and possibly have a better needle valve.
In conclusion they are more or less level.
I'm using a co2 art and have no problems in 4 years...

Defo mate nearly two years now and I added second bubble counter manifold thing and I supply two tanks with no problem at all .
