Changeover of Ferts

i've gone from using my micro only flourish fertiliser and have received my API fertiliser which is full of macro and micro fertilisers so am i right in thinking that the changeover should be half doses for about a week to prevent any algae growth or should i go straight in with full dosing ??

Nutrients don't cause algae. Lack of nutrients causes algae.
