Hello,
I am new to all this aquarium stuff and would be grateful for some advice....
I've recently susccessfully completed a fishless cycle and stocked my tank with 7 rummies & then 10 ember tetras. All is going well so far with good water readings.
I couldn't resist getting a couple of Cardinal shrimp the other day to add to the tank - very cool. Got home from work last night & couldn't see them anywhere & feared the worst..... found them later on happily munching away on a piece of wood
So to my question:
Will they breed??
I assumed that I would need a male & female - but it is impossible to identify the sex of the shrimp & the guy in the shop said that shrimp have both sex organs & so will reproduce - I'm not convinced. Could someone enlighten me?
Plus, should I get any specific food for them?
Cheers
Planted 72ltr (60ltr water) 2 x 24W T5, Internal filter (450lph)
