I'm looking at setting up a box for all my buce and anubias once I take down my 90p and just wondering if anyone has a tried and tested method for this as I've seen a few different types.

Also does anyone know if microsorum grows emersed?

Hey guys, after a little poke from @Wookii , I thought I'd share what I'm doing to propagate some of my emersed plants, particularly Bucephalandra. Full disclaimer; I was not the first to do this and there are many examples of people doing it online. It is also common place in large plant nurseries, but this is just a bit less fancy. Hopefully it helps at least one person!

Firstly, lets start with why you would do this in the first place;
  • It is suitable for almost any plant (except fully aquatic species like Vallisneria, blyxa etc).

It does. My very limited experience is that it was a little slower to adapt than anubias, maybe they require higher humidity. But in the end, it worked out well.

Substrate:
Fluval Stratum
Plants:
A selection of Buce, Red Root Floater, Mini Coral Moss, Mini Christmas Moss, Anubias petite, Anubias paxing, Pogostemon helferi.

Fertilizer one or two Osmcote balls in the substrate just underneath the roots.
Foliage feed 0.5 grams of High K Solufeed in 2 litres of De - Ionsed water.

Foliar spray is done in the...
