I have mine in with a large shrimp but when I was looking around I found lots of sites that said they would be ok with shrimps.

Cant say the same thing for my plants LOL

Hi all,
They are fine with shrimps, a lot of "plec" keepers successfully keep shrimps with their fish (even carnivorous ones like Hypancistrus), as otherwise you have nothing to look at during the day.

I would imagine it will be fine.
My ancistrus struggle to home in on blood worm let alone a shrimp.
They arent well adapted to eating moving things.
