Best HOB filter for 37L 45p tank

I know HBO filter is always gonna be the first option for beginners. But when I read reviews of this Oase Filtosmart and saw video, they way they described that filling water is all I need to prime it, and unlike other canister filters there won't be issue of pressure or air lock. I thought that its a canister filter which is like HOB in terms of ease of use.

I think it’s the same as any other external (canister) filter, just with a smaller capacity. So priming it will be the same.

That is really strange. I just bought a 107, and I've also owned a 307. Pull and push the priming lever two-three times and wait, that's all it takes to prime them.

Today after cleaning the filter I tried prime it with canister empty and it worked. So thanks for the help. Earlier I was trying it with the canister completely filled with water, thats why struggled. But this time I made sure that its empty and it worked flawless with the prime lever. Thank you very much.
