I've attached a pic of the info in my leaflet of 2000. It states that the secondary dose can be continued for a number of days. If your fish appear to be improving in response to it (which is great) I would definitely advise carrying on with treatment. You don't really want to abort a treatment before the fish are fully better, as it risks recurrence or even resistance in the bacteria. The medication isn't a harsh one either, it's pretty much just gram-positive antiseptics and a low dose of copper.
I think the fishies are on the mend!!!! I finished my 3 day course of ESHA2000, and the previously very shy and retiring rasbora with the infection, has rejoined the school and has started eating again=) there are still signs of infection but I am quite hopeful*
