This is a wonderful plant for the background of a planted tank and I'm surprised it is not used more often. I grew it on a low tech aquarium, about 20 years ago, using t8 light bulbs and a bit if CO2 from yeast culture. It did so well it even flowered. I highly recommend it for every skill level aquarist.

I used to have a lot of success with these as well. Very beautiful plant, although it does need a dormant period every so often.
