Anyone with experience with Isoetes velata

I just stumbled upon this plant, Isoetes velata and wonder if there's any experience with it? :?:

I have it, or what I have been told it is, but keep it hydroponically only at the moment and from my experience it is a fast growing plant, that spreads runners everywhere. Jokes aside. I wrote to the shop and the answer I got was: "Isoetes velata is a quite rare plant that is not difficult to keep but has a slow growing rate. It won´t spread fast like other plants." So it sounds like it's the "real" one... :?
