I have been lucky to get some generous amounts of Anubias and Buce .What is best to grow them on ?I have plenty of bogwood,Lava rock ,Slate, ocean rock and Granite
Thanks for any input
I am just adding buces to my tank at the min,I plan on putting them on wood and on rocks,Ive no personal experiance myself yet.But have been told they establish and grow in quicker on rock.
You would be surprised
Been keeping bucephalandra a few years now mainly planted in substrate. They don't suffer like anubias would under the same care. In nature they can be found growing on dirt banks and they naturally accumulate a layer of soil in the roots and rhizome structures
I've got some planted in sand. I'll show you the condition of these
