Hey all, new here and trying my first scape!

I’m heading down to buy plants tomorrow. It’d be great to get some of your ideas! What sort of floating, epiphyte’s, moss and background stem plants should I get?

Another question.. if I buy my plants tomorrow afternoon. Do I need to plant them straight away or could I wait until the following morning? Specifically in vitro plants.

Thanks!

I had 2 pots of in vitro Crypts sitting on my desk for well over 6 months before some of the leaves started to turn brown, although I would not advocate leaving them this long. The following morning will be absolutely fine.
Cheers!

Hi all,
Welcome to UKAPS, I like your username:
I'm not sure it matters, but I usually change about 10% a day because it suits <"my morning routine"> of a black coffee, thinking about a cigarette and 20 minutes of contemplating <"the meaning of life"> (while changing the tank water).
In terms of the plants:
What sort of floating, epiphyte’s, moss and background stem plants should I get?
Anything you like from the <"plant details - Tropica Aquarium Plants"> "Easy" range.

For floating plants, try Salvinia or Red Root Floaters. Good epiphytes are Anubias and Bucephalandra. Java Moss is great, and for stems, Ludwigia or Rotala work well. In vitro plants can wait overnight—just keep them sealed and in a cool place!
