    Aquarium Silicon Mat

I use that plastic egg crate diffuser, I am not sure that this would spread the load very much at all so I would be worried about point loading 6mm glass like that. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

I really like the look of this. Personally I would stick to rock and plants for something like this but that's just me. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    attaching Buces and Anubias

I use dark brown linen thread. It is very strong and the muted colour blends in really well with lots of colours of wood and stone, then it rots away after several months. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Tips on choosing and using found rocks and wood in a planted tank?

If the stone bubbles or fizzes when you put vinegar on it then it will dissolve slowly in water and raise your pH and hardness Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Tips on choosing and using found rocks and wood in a planted tank?

As I understand it you should thoroughly boil found items to avoid transferring any parasites to your tank, and that wood should have the bark removed. There is probably more advice than that but those two stuck in my memory Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    Propagating Stems

I cut mine just above the lowest leaf node so that they bush out low down, then strip the lowest pair of leaves off the"top" bit that I cut off and replant it. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

My latest tank, currently going through it's cycle

I just finished setting this up, ultimately to house some Caridina Cantonensis once it has cycled. It's a Fluval Flex 57 litre Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    Kentish Ragstone

From a brief stint in another life bashing wooden pegs into the ground in a ragstone quarry it is more like a sandstone so should be ok. Get a bit, leave it to dry and then pour some vinegar or Viakal on it. If it fizzes then it will dissolve, harden your water (if it is possible to make Kent...

    Nano tank

Good call. My first tank was the Aquael shrimp set and it has been great. I did replace the filter with a sponge filter because I was scared about shrimplets getting sucked in. The sponge that comes with it is quite coarse but could easily be replaced. Sent from my MI 9 using Tapatalk

Nice rock, I like it a lot. What type is it? Is that lots of pieces joined together or a big piece on each side? Sent from my Mi MIX 2S using Tapatalk

Where to buy Manzanita wood in Kent?

I don't know about stock but pelagic aquatics may be worth speaking to, or Maidenhead aquatics maybe? Sent from my Mi MIX 2S using Tapatalk
