here is a better picture with a white background , i also cleaned the stones and the sand :D have to wait a couple of months to have a more natural plantation , for the fishes i am thinking about H. amandae :D

thank you for your comments :D Hydrophyte , i think that it is classic E.tenellus and not red E.tenellus ...i am not sute though ....i some other tanks i do with lower lights it stays green :wink: the background is high enough i will trim it this week to give it a better shape as it is...

plants finally start to show all over the background , still there is a lot of work of trimming to do as it is still quite thin , anyways here is a picture , hope you like it :D

great hardscape :thumbup: your plantation is also very nice , i like the hydrocotile touch , it mixes very nice with the HC :wink:

very nice nano , i think this one has a great potential , maybe only be careful that the most doesn't cover all the hardscape , would you have a front picture taken from a bit higher than this one and without the filter ? (i edited it a bit , sorry :mrgreen: :wink: )

Saintly , if you have enough wood to make something with a good balance , it might definitly work , but that also might mean to rethink the rock part to integrate the wood , if you can do it without changing the central part which is great the way it is, that would do it :wink: tropic_john ...

some updates of this tank , it is running kind of low-tech , 18W (0,3W/Liter) , co2 1b/3sec , nearly no ferts . i still have to put some moss on the foreground behind the stones on the sand , had no time to take care of this yet :wink:

you have quite a unique style , i must say that everytime i see one of your posts here and there i am always quite excited to open it and see what you have for us :D looking at your tank in live must feel like being in the jungle , i like a lot the luxurious plantation , yet organised enough...

Re: 240l tank rescape (name coming later) your nano looks great , i like a lot this kind of natural look , all in green , the use of may different plants in the foreground and a lot of moss , the use of the wood also seems quite perfect to me , all together this has a very "simple" feeling...

Hi everybody , Here is a lay-out i'm working on, the tank is 240L , 120*45*45cm , i still have to finish the plantation , the background will be fully planted (nothing in the left part at this moment) , i want the background to be light and colorful , only have to wait for it to grow :D...
