    so its working ok then? is it producing tiny little bubbles now? good thing about doing like this is that the powerhead also blows the bubbles around the tank instead of them just floating upwards to the water surface.

    a way i found to creat tiny tiny bubbles was to put my diffuser under a small power head, so the bubbles get sucked into the power head and then gets chopped up even smaller. its working a treat for me at the moment.

    the easiest way to work it out is just run water through it, you'll soon see which way it goes.

    just plain old water from the tap. its only to count your bubbles per second, none of it goes into the tank. so water is fine.

    when you say a drop checker, what is that and how does it work? i have a bubble counter which is outside the tank, but i doubt thats what your talking about. if it is, its producing about 3 bubbles every 2 seconds. so just over a bubble a second. and im using a wooden airstone inside the tank...

    in my new 60litre setup i was running a d.i.y c02, it wasnt producing much c02 so i added more sugar to the bottle (advised by someone to do so)... since doing this, i have noticed alot of tiny c02 bubbles drifting around the tank. is this safe for the fish? none of my fish are gasping for air...
