That may be the case, but a healthy, poorly designed scape, IMO, will always trump a well-designed, but unhealthy one. I still think you're too hard on yourself. Looking forward to the new scape. The hardscape in that photo is beautiful. I almost like it as is, without plants. :lol:

That's so weird that you have to use 100% RO now. It makes things so complicated. And I thought my own water really was bad, but compared with all that you have to do, all I do is pour some dechlorinator and I'm good. I hope it works out with the new HC llj

Don't take this wrong. I really like the random-look that the plant placement has. It really looks like a stump that has many different species taking over it as time elapses. It is a very natural look. It survived the chopping quite well. :D
