Hi guys,

I'm going to travel to the USA next month and I need to buy a led light for my new aquarium with the measurements of the title.
The aquarium will be a planted inspired by the Dutch layout that will need a good amount of light.
My question is:
Can two Finnex 24/7 CC 48" luminaires meet the need for plants?
According to the site a luminaire for the depth I intend in 20 "measured PAR close to 49. I believe that two will give more than 80.
What do you think?
Is there a better option for the same price?

Hello,
As long as you have a way to control and therefore, REDUCE the light intensity, any luminary will work.
Lighting technology is essentially driven by Reefkeepers, who worship massive PAR levels for their corals.

Freshwater plant growers suffer tremendous problems when such high intensity light is used.
80 micromoles at a depth of 20 inches is already plenty of light and is twice as much as is needed.

Cheers,
