UK. Norfolk to be precise. I use a company called Flame Skill, it's best to go round to the local fire safety places imho. Lets face it C02 isn't an expensive gas (comparatively) and for fire saftey companies it only takes 2 mins of someones time to fill a 2kg, 5kg or whatever bottle.
I've not heard it leaking, but then I haven't gone to the lengths as described above to check. I did discover this morning that the o-ring on the regulator is mullered so that's obviously going to cause a problem. I'm getting the bottle refilled today so I'll make sure to do a full check...
My DC is lime green all the time, I have moved it about a bit and it remains constant.
Surface water is mainly calm, I have a little agitation at one end, but not much.
I'll get the soapy water out.
What is a good moss for clinging to wood after removing fishing line? I have 2 mosses on my wood at present (stop sniggering) and one of them has stayed behind and the other hasn't, obviously the one I liked best hasn't. I want to cover more of the wood with moss but want to be able to remove...
What you should say is
I TOLD YOU SO  :P
It's weird as I saw some tanks with Assassin snails in at the weekend and my daughter commented on how nice they looked. The on Monday she was upset when she saw what happened to her Guppies, more upset when she realised that the...
So I went ahead with the Chain Loach, they are lovely fish and seemed to fit in well.
But....Yesterday I find a dead Guppy, it's tail was virtually gone too. I watch the tank for a few mins and see 2 other Guppies with badly damaged tails then, Chain Loach come out from behind rock and start...
That's the first time a tank has made my spine tingle a little, seriously. I personally would not have the piece of wood on the right hand side, but none the less WOW. :jawdrop
Well that's me inspired, gotta work on the wife now to let me have just 1 more tank.
I've just replaced my T8's with T5's on my Rio 240, now I can't comment on the plant growth, yet, but I can say that my tank looks way better with the T5's.
I've gone with 3 drops, 2 is very faint, 4 is quite strong.
I've done a little work with the flow and where to C02 bubbles are being taken in the tank, as well as significantly reducing the surface agitation. First signs are good so hopefully my tank has taken another step forward.
