Hi all,
Just ordered a Fluval F35 aquarium set up, which is a 38x38x44cm tank with LED lighting, and an external filter.
This is mainly for tropical fish (which we have kept before) but also some easy live plants. The fish are likely to be celestial pearl danios, maybe some pygmy Cory's, a few amano shrimp and maybe a couple of honey gourami. Not decided, but along those lines.
I want to make it look really nice and 'dramtic' but my skills are limited as a beginner.
At the moment, having read lots, I plan to have a layer of Tetraplant Complete, with Unipac Limpopo sand over the top. I then want some rock and wood. And of course the plants.
So....I guess a few questions.
Is the above general plan OK?
I have looked at TGM blue stone, aqua essentials Baltic stone and some stuff on eBay. About how much do you think I need in kg? And what sort of size pieces should I ask for?
With the wood, any recommendations? I have seen some nice red moor on ebay that might work?
Think that's all for now
Cheers
