Leaky co2 cyllinder

Hi! My fire extinguisher started leaking when the handle is pressed. It seems to be coming somewhere from where the handle/switch attach to the tank (not the CO2 regulator). Any idea how to proceed or what may be wrong with it ?

I have had this happen a couple of times when the lever is only partly depressed. I found that when it was fully depressed there was no leak.
Have you tried clamping the handle?
Just my experience, it could be different for you.
