If you need to refill your bubble counter more than once a week, it's time to check your connections. Carefully examine all the connections between the diffuser and the bubble counter. If a leak is present, the pressure will escape, and due to low resistance, water will be pushed out of the bubble counter.

If you can't find any leaks, please make sure your working pressure is not higher than what your diffuser requires :

10-20PSI - Reactors

20-30PSI - Ceramic and Basic diffusers

30-40PSI - High-pressure atomizers (inline & bazooka)

40-60PSI - Multiple outlets with high-pressure atomizers (inline & bazooka)
Water will be pushed out of the bubble counter's chamber when the working pressure is much higher than your diffuser resistance on each solenoid cycle.
