Will my journal ever start?!

Hi all,

As some of you may be aware i have been planning a return to the planted scene after being away (slightly) with a low tech planted tank for my CRS.

Firstly i ordered a lovely optiwhite tank from Seapets only to be fobbed off with delivery dates and customer service. Nothing ever turned up. After a fight and getting paypal involved i eventually asked for my momey back. I should have googled the reviews of them first!!

Since then i have ordered the tank from another supplier who have been very good. Scheduled a delivery date for today. Phoned up yesterday to ensure it was being sent out so i could make sure someone was in to sign for it.
Yes it will be despatched.
Wicked i thought. Journal starts on B/hol monday!

Get a message today from a family member today to say the tank has arrived but theres a problem...

Delivery refused, photos taken and sent back. Supplier has been good about it and said they will claim when they receive it.

How hard is it to get the tank i want and start my journal. Incredibly frustrating!!

Hi Nick , Sorry to here this mate. Wow I just read the reviews on seapets 😱 I must of been lucky as I got my tank on said time and date.

Hope they sort out the problem soon.

Looks like the silicone work is pretty decent though
yeah its just really annoying not being able to 'crack' on with it.
The courier company asked me if i wanted to keep the cabinet part, but i just sent the whole lot back as there can be no argument.

think you got incredibly lucky Roy, just fobbed me off constantly and that was when i could get hold of them.

Sort of wish i just bought an ADA tank from our sponsors now. least i would have had it by now.

Very little we ever do with aquariums is easy.

We all seem to have horror stories and hold-ups.

Keep perservering. This is just extra time to plan the scape...

I found seapets use the worst courier ever! I ordered a 200 litre tank and cabinet. Was left on the kerb side. Neighbour knocked the door to say the box had my name on it.
Driver said he phoned "hundreds" of times and was at my door for 10 minutes.
As i never signed for it, it was sent back.

I now prefer to see and pick up my aquariums now.

Hope its all sorted soon.
