Hi, see topic title. They are growing but why with curled redish tips?
Thanks for advice

Hi
New immature growth of Jave ferns is usually weird looking.Usually transparent tips/part of the leaf but it sorts itself out as leaves mature.
Is this the case or not?
As above more information is needed.
Regards Konstantin

Yes, Java ferns can be quite odd that way.... I have a lot of Java ferns and I've never seen this particular behavior.... on the other hand, I occasionally have old leaves develop terrible holes in them... I am pretty sure I don't have any fertilizer deficiencies, but still... I usually just cut away those leaves. I also see the transparent tips occasionally on new growth. That usually sorts itself out as the leaf mature.

Cheers,
Michael

Hi @Sanniejop Definitely a deficiency of sorts - but hard to diagnose without more information. Please post more information about your tank in accordance with our guidelines for plant help.

Welcome to UKAPS! :)
