white worm/ larvae

hey all,

i was working on my hardscape when i noticed something wiggling on top of my aquasoil all of a sudden.
Does anyone know what it is and where it might came from?

Did some further investigation and it's a woodworm. I think.

Although i'm not sure how that came in my aquarium. Since they supposedly only like softwoods or pine . What I did notice though is that some of my spiderwood have "tunnels" I just cut a piece of spiderwood and noticed one.

I didnt find a worm inside it though but did find another worm on my workbench. I read that once they are removed from wood they curl up like a comma and that's what i found weird about them.

Hope I won't find any more. I have oak parket through all of my house lol
 
The grubs need a certain level of moisture in the wood to survive. The wood in your house will most likely be too dry for them, so your oak parquet will be OK. I would think any left in the spiderwood tunnels will die when the wood is submerged, I doubt they will be able to breathe under water.
