I had some issues with shrimp moulting and getting the white stripe of death, I assumed it would be a diet problem (was feeding normal shrimp pellets and left over fish food) so started feeding shrimp king complete pellets and biotase. I've just noticed another with the white stripe, are there any other reasons for this?

Other tank mates 50 cherry shrimp, 10 amano, a few Asian glass shrimp, 18 neons, 3 honey gourami and 13 oto.

Temp 24, GH15, DH15, PH 7.4 (co2 injection) heavily planted tank dosing ei and also running a steriliser. Ammonia 0, nitrate 20, nitrite 0,

I think I read somewhere this can occur through some kind of osmotic shock if parameters are changing too fast (e.g. water changes). I was facing this issue and started doing my water changes more slowly and never had the problem since. That's the only thing I changed.

Give that a go maybe? Mineral food for the shrimp's exoskeleton could help too.
