Which diffuser and where...

Hi all

I'm thinking about going high tech in my aqua nano 40 (55 litre, 40cm cube)

The tank has a rear filter chamber and I'm wondering if I can get away with hiding the diffuser in the rear chamber? If so where should I put it? The chamber basically has 4 sections, number 1 is empty, two has mechanical media (sponge), chamber 3 ceramic media and chamber 4 the return pump. Initially I wad thinking chamber 1 but then I was worried the CO2 wouldn't get back to the tank through the chambers. Then I thought chamber 4 but I've heard CO2 going into a pump will eventually break down the plastic and break it

Anyone done similar or got any tips or tricks?

Thanks

When I had my AIO tank I used this Venturi style in my last chamber just above the pump. The bubbles that escaped were sucked right into the pump intake, chopped up some more and sent into the display. Worked like a charm and growth on that tank was fantastic. Never had a problem with the pump
