They will be placed in the shade of a Echinodorus Tricolor.
Also behind a rock.
Will need to be around 20 cm high.

I keep cryptocoryne becketti petchii. It is very low light tolerant. I've got crypts that decided to grow behind the internal filers and the glass, almost no light in there because my led strip is shorter than the tank and not very powerful. It's a really nice crypt. The leaves will change colour depending on the amount of light from pink to red to dark green, and the leaves are really shiny (it's not a camera effect, it's how they look when the plant is healthy)

Here is a picture. This is a low tech tank by the way. I don't dose anything bar iron.IMG_0092_zpsl4du6vky.jpg

I will need the bigger versin as I need it to appear above the rock in front.

C. beck. 'petchii' is a really good choise - like said, will grow happily in severe shade (=under an Echinodorus). It might not reach 20 cm, though.
Another obtion is C. wendtii 'Tropica' - also brown-ish of colour, and also tolerant of heavy shade. This will grow taller, than the 'petchii'.
