Which all in one fertiliser do people use or recommend ?

The tank is 30l cube 11w light and will be using easycarbo

Plants are undecided yet but will most likely be tropica 1 - 2 grow

Ive just found on aqua essentials one called neutro + seems cheap and covers npk any thoughts on it ?

With the tropica fert is it the tropica plant nutrition , tropica premium or tropica specialist ?

Without fish it's the specialist, with its the professional. The specialist has phosphate and nitrate I think so has to be used in a pretty heavily planted tank so that you don't get any algae issues

Which is completely wrong. Algae do not care about phosphate or nitrate, but plants do. The OP is encouraged to purchase the product listed in either in post #5, or shown on the page APF Plant Nutrition in Bottles (dry) - APF Complete - Fertilisers which is by far the best value. Everything else is just paying for water.

And that's the worst thing one can do when dealing with plant nutrition. That's why there is so much algae in tanks around the globe.

Well, partly true. Algea spores doesn't care about P or N, as they live off ammonia, but the algae (adult state) does feed on nitrate and phosphate.
Ammonia will come from decaying plant matter and from your fish (and over feeding your fish).

Circle of life: if you starve your plants by denying them the the nitrate and phosphate(or co2 and light) they need to keep healthy they will begin to rot and send ammonia into your tank which will feed the algae spores - resulting in algae.
Keeping your tank clean and plants happy (and the amount of fish in your tanks at a sane level) is key.

It really doesn't matter whether they do this or not. Blooms occur due to the activation of the spores. So you have to stop the spores from blooming. You'll never stop the adult algae from feeding anyway, and besides, that isn't the fundamental issue.

The worst blooms occur when the nutrient levels are at their lowest, and the blooms continue to increase in strength while plant health continues to decline if the nutrient load is not increased. Once a bloom occurs due to low nutrient levels you must increase the nutrient levels in order to have any chance of abating the blooms, so it's pointless to worry about whether adult state feeds on nutrients. Since the blooms are related to plant health you must fix plant health first.
