Great shop with a recent refurb, loads of trops, odd balls, shrimp, discus, puffers, schooling fish, huge marine stock and tank show room, pond section not bad, massive stock of lava rock and very cheap, I went in for a pea puffer and ended up going through 4 sacks of lava rock and walked out with huge amount of it for £30, 4 pots of Anubis petite for £3 a pot and 6 lecky blue rams lol (oh and the pea puffer). Good selection of plants about 6 potted in each stock tank and must have 40 stock tanks, usual non aquatics too but 90% aquatic.

Shop name: Millbrook Water Gardens

Location: Millbrook Garden Centre, Tubwell Lane, Crowborough, East Sussex TN6 3RJ

Directions:Millbrook at Crowborough is situated just outside Crowborough on the B2100 heading towards Rotherfield, opposite Tesco. If you are travelling by train, the nearest train station is Crowborough. - See more at: http://www.millbrookgc.co.uk/our-centres/crowborough.aspx#sthash.HTZuPXB5.dpuf

What they offer or specialise in: Plants, Tropical Fish, Marine Fish and Corals, Fancy Goldfish, Food & Accessories

Over all verdict of the shop: Small shop but the plants here are the healthiest ive seen in a shop. So many shops have algae covered and dying plants but here they really take care of their stock. All fish look healthy, the shop is clean and well presented. The staff are honest and seem to know what they are talking about. I will go back!

This is where I tend to go now and is the best place in Kent that I have been to in my opinion.

Posting to resurrect the thread and see if there are anymore as it's been quiet on here for a while!

Second this, used to go to their old shop and the new one is loads bigger, they are great for livestock, absolutely fantastic fish and inverts in great condition, not that much on the plants side but they tend to have a few nice bits and bobs if you look deep enough, marine section is extensive.

Sadly, the Maidenhead Aquatics @ Morden store has closed. A real shame.
It looks like this must have reopened as I’ve just done a Google search and it is not saying permanently closed, it gives times for opening. Does anyone know the situation regarding this?

What's their shrimp selection like?

Freshwater wise when i went they had cherries, oranges, yellows, blues, the zebra ones and one type of sulawesi, i'm no shrimp expert for sure but they got a good choice of neocaridina, and they have amano's reliably, the rarer stuff i'm not sure as i don't think they keep it in the rack system.

yep, they get most standard shrimp from Neil Hardy, so baisically Neocaridina davidi in colours, low grade CRS, long nose shrimp, bamboo shrimp, armoured shrimp, small amanos. Sulawesi was a one off import, but they didn't have the right water - they keep all shrimps in close to 100% R.O.
