I have a tank filled with daphnia and I have noticed these worm type thing in there?

what are they?
Should I clean the whole tank and then add the daphnia back in?

I suspect they are harmless and fish will eat them. I've had similar.

Overfeeding will cause their numbers to increase but they will always be present and are a good part of the aquarium ecosystem.
