Sorry, it's true that I should have specified, in the drop checker there is a whitish layer, what is it ?

Probably some kind of biofilm, or maybe a decaying leaf that's got stuck in there and is attracting some fungal growth.

In anycase it needs removing from the tank and cleaning.

Ah, yes, I'd say it was a mould/fungus too
