What is causing this Algae on glass

Just had a breakout of this in the last couple of days.
Plants looking dirty as well.

Looks like diatoms. Usually found in new tanks during/just after cycling. If you keep a good regime with plenty of small water changes, it should go.

I only had it briefly so can't give you much more information than that. There is another thread discussing the same thing with more info two down from yours

Turn filters off, clean as much as you can then do a water change. wash, rinse repeat.
