I just bought some of the above mentioned plant.It was sold to me as a 'floating plant', however someone suggested it could be used on the 'floor' of an aquarium.
have a search of the forum. its a very common and popular plant.
many leave it floating for a week or two before tying it down. This week of floating enables it to grow quite a large amount, as it has the ferts in the water and access to all the co2 it could dream of in the air! rather than the 30ppm in our tanks
