Last week I was in Budapest and took the time to visit Green Aqua.
This is one of the best shops in Europe I believe and they have a great YouTube platform with all kinds of information and tank set ups.

Here some pictures:

These first 2 tanks are my favourites.
The small 60P is looking very neat on that glass stand. It was scaped by Jurijs Jutjajevs who did an amazing job.

The big standalone tank is my inspiration for my future build.

And here some other tanks, some of them you can still find back on Youtube

I was twice in Budapest during 1 week and this last tank (above) was trimmed after the first visit.

The shop has all equipment you can possibly need to set up a tank.
In their display room, almost all tanks are ADA and I counted 16 ADA Solar lights.
There are more plants and hard scape material than in all UAE shops combined

This flashing fish was something I did not see before.
Very interesting

I had to look up these fish, which turned out to be Daisy's blue rice fish (Oryzias woworae). Very lovely and lively.

I'd love to go there and maybe I'll take the Mrs for a romantic weekend away to Budapest one day

Went last year to Budapest for city break for the weekend, great place lots and see and do and Green Aqua is only about 15-20mins taxi from centre ;) Well worth the visit IMO

It's on the to do list for sure. Just need to work out how to get the goodies I buy back home!

How much would a taxi be for that journey? And any problems getting a cab on the return?

Makes a trip to Aquarium Gardens feel only down the road!

Budapest isnt expensive once your there compare to some citys, cant remember the taxi price, they guys are Green Aqua just phoned for a cab didnt take long, although the longer it takes the better as more time there for me, didnt buy much just a few plants and just suck them in suitcase and was fine. Plus City centre not far to airport either.

I had not notice it before, but the first 2 pictures are from the same tank but with a different light.
The first photo has a Twinstar 600S. For the second photo there is an unknown light used. It seems to be a Odyssea lamp.

I like the second better.
