Vallisneria help

My vallis are really poorly. Not reproducing or growing tall. They have been like that for a while. Don't know what to do :(
 
Sorry to hear that. it might help of you shared water parameters, substrate, lighting and fertiliser regime. A phot would also help.
 
I used to have Valisneria Nana in my low tech that would not grow tall until I started dosing Macros.
 
They seem to be doing best above 6 GH. Of course they, as all plants, need fertilizers, but, from my own experience, wont do well with liquid carbo / Excel as @Wolf6 mentioned. They seem to be "extra" sensitive to low Iron levels as well. Also, they shouldn't be buried too low into the substrate (you got the be able to see the upper part of the root system/crown).
