Using filter for water changes

I always use my filter to waterchange. I attach a how to the out put too. Its fast and easy.

that t junction wont work, Try useing something like this.

But with a third out bit to connect the pipe.

Or use both... You may find it tricky finding a T with valves. You will probably find a Y, but that will disrupt flow more.
