Hi
Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search and didn't see any posts that answered my question.
I have a Fluval Vicenza 180 bowfront aquarium and would like to replace/increase the lighting in it. The tank is 36" long but the light unit that comes with it only accepts 2 x T5 24w, which causes both ends of the tank to be fairly dim and plants struggle as do carpeting plants.
As the lighting unit forms the middle of the hood with the back and front flaps fitting onto the light unit I'm at a loss as to how to upgrade the lighting. Going open top is not an option for me.
Has anyone successfully managed to add additional lighting to one of these aquariums? If so how did you do it?
Thanks
