Unnamed Low Tech Nano

I was thinking about wrapping the entire vehicle in bubble wrap - you can never be too carefull!

So it's been a while!
I did end up moving with the tank intact but unfortunately it shocked both the shrimp and the tetra fish, and they are no more :(
However the betta is still alive, and I found an amazing little lfs with beautiful shrimp at bargain prices, so nabbed myself a few blue jellies and low grade tigers to restock the tank with!
Here's a few pics of the tank untrimmed and inhabitants.

Some of my emerged growth starting to flower, this particular plant is a tradescantia zebrina cutting from one of my terrariums.

And finally this is it with a slight trim and tidy up. Sorry for the poor picture quality, there's only so much you can do with an iPhone!

Bought some new friends for the tank today!
I actually went out to pick up some mosquito rasbora to replace the betta, I thought he might enjoy a nice shallow planted tank to himself as he's starting to struggle swimming (even with the filter running on the slowest setting), and I knew the shop had them in at £1 each! What a steal! But apparently every other local fishkeeper thought that was also a good deal and all 150 sold out over the weekend. GUTTED!
So the betta gets to stay for a few more weeks until they hopefully get more rasbora in. I got 4 more otocinclus (actually asked for 5 to make it an odd number but they must have misheard!) to keep the remaining two I had in the tank company.

Looks like we're all quite happily settled in there!

Is there an unspoken fishy rule that at least one oto must be hidden at all times? I don't think I've ever seen any of my otos out all at once!
The moss is starting to grow even fuller on the branches,

And the emersed growth is just shooting up!

Find their resting place. Mine always end up together on the same spot at some time during the day chilling for a couple of hours (lights on time normally). It's been like that for years. Whatever they do, they stick together in the end for a chat :) It could be a branch of driftwood or similar place where they feel safe. But it depends on the tank I guess.
