Hi, I have just bought a Twinstar B-Line II. It has a dimmer with seven steps, but when I choose most of the steps with the dimmer the powe supply makes a quite noisy beep.
It's silent only when I choose step 1 and 2 (lowest output) and step 7 (maximum output).
What can I do?

I have tried it with different sockets and power adapters and it always makes it. I will write to the shop tomorrow, hopefully I will have to change only the power supply.

The fact that lower power does not make that noise but higher does, does seem to be power-related. Start with a new (or borrowed) PS and see if that solves it.

I don't have another power supply with 24 v output to make a test right now.
Anyway the highest output doesn't make that noise. My previous light (a Tetra LED) does that too, it makes no sound at max output, only when it is dimmed, but it isn't as noisy as this Twinstar so I have never cared about it.
I will ask for a replacement since I have paid for a completely working unit, but I have bought a Power supply made by another manufacturer too, it is a bit oversized in order to avoid overheating (the original Twinstar is 24 V/ 2,5 A/ 60 W, this one 24 V/ 3,75 A/ 90 W)

You must be referring to coil whining.
At 100% it's DC so no pwm frequency.
