I currently collect rain water form the roof of my log cabin for my aquaria. I have just been given a load of lawn turf that I was thinking for using to make a green roof on the cabin. Does anyone know what is likely to be in the turf that will wash off (ferts, herbicides etc)? Is this a bad idea?
